Welcome to North Star

Welcome to the website of North Star Aiki!

We are an aiki jiujitsu club based in Sarnia, Ontario, Canada. Within these pages you will discover information about self-defence training with us, what you need to get started, and what benefits you can expect from training with us!

First-time Visitors

If this is your first visit to our site, and you are looking for a place in the Sarnia area to study a martial art, you may wish to begin by checking our class hours and location page.

If you are brand new to the martial arts and wish to find out more about our system, please read our introductory pages to gauge whether or not our style may suit you.

Experienced Students

If you are coming to aiki jiujitsu with prior experience, or are looking to cross-train, please visit our experienced students page for information that will help you quickly gather information about what makes our art unique.

Current Students

For current students of aiki jiujitsu, you can use this site to find out testing information, etiquette guidelines, safety guidelines, and information about your art's history and influences. Of course the easiest way to get your questions asked is to follow the traditional method of showing up for class! :)
